Our interior design process
To give you an idea of the interior design process, we have listed the main stages involved. That said, the process may look slightly different for you depending on the scale of your project.
Preparation brief and budget
Before our creative teams get to work, we spend time with you to get to know your style, the vision you have for the property’s space, what timescale you need to work to and what budget you have in mind. Once we have a full understanding of your needs, we will create a brief which outlines your goals so we can work towards them.
Concept design
At this stage, our creative team gets to work on designing, working with mood boards, visuals and 3D modelling to start imagining your new space. We will also explore a range of styles and finishes as we develop floor plans and layouts. At this point, we can then look into the right furnishings, lighting and materials for the room, ensuring we stay true to the brief.
Design development
We build on our concept design by specifying finishes such as furnishings and flooring, refining the interior layout and detailing the lighting. Throughout this process, we keep the needs of the constructors in mind to ensure our plans are manageable.
Technical design
At this stage we create a detailed technical construction pack and develop furniture, fixtures and equipment specifications along with finishing schedules.
Construction
Working alongside trusted contractors to ensure the project’s success, construction begins.
Handover and close out
Once the construction and installation process is complete, we will then visit the project site to take a look at the work. If there are any areas which need perfecting or any issues arise, we will schedule time to resolve this so that we are content with the end result.
