Hotel Interior Designers

We are KTM Design, professional hotel interior designers experienced in creating beautiful spaces within the hospitality sector. We recognise that great hotel designs also equal great business, which is why we endeavour to create rooms that match your hotel’s style and offer guests ultimate comfort. Since being founded in 2015, we’ve successfully transformed buildings in hospitality, designing, furnishing and fitting out rooms to create unique and inviting spaces for guests.

We have KTM Design studios based in Bournemouth and London, but we can provide hotel interior design services across the country and beyond.

From our initial consultation to discuss your project through to construction and handover, we’ll work closely with you to fully understand the hotel experience you’re looking to provide to your customers. We won’t just meet your expectations, we’ll exceed them.

hotel interior design process

Step 1: Design brief

Firstly, we’ll conduct a site visit to understand how the building comes together and what you’d like to achieve from your new space so we can work towards achieving these goals.

Step 2: Concept design

We’ll create an initial design plan, including 3D models, floorplans, fabrics and furnishings.

Step 3: Design development

We’ll explore finishes and design styles in further detail, specifying the materials to be used and refining the interior layouts. We will also consider any economic, environmental and construction needs and requirements.

Step 4:Technical design

We’ll then put together a fully detailed technical construction pack along with finishing schedules and FF&E specifications.

Step 5: Construction

We’ll work closely with contractors as they carry out the construction work, ensuring that it is consistent with the concept design. We’ll also advise on any specialist subcontractors should we feel it’s required.

Step 6: Handover and closeout

Finally, we’ll visit the site to determine whether any further work is necessary to ensure the space fulfills the brief. The project will only come to a close when ourselves and the client are happy with the final result.
