Local charity Julia's House, new offices design

KTM Design are excited to be able to support local charity Julia’s House for the design of their new offices, with a fun, playful and colourful theme.

Julia’s House is a hospice for children with life-limiting, life-threatening or terminal conditions. They provide care and help to the children and their family.

Previously based in Barclays Poole, Julia’s House offices looked like any others. With the pandemic, the majority of the staff were working from home and have yet to returned to the working space.

The brief was to create a relaxed, informal co-working space that inspired the staff to come back in.

On the base of a functional layout, the design focus on creating layers of interests, through printed wall graphics, an abundance of greenery and pops of colours.

The breakout areas and meeting room display bright and colourful accent furniture.

On the walls, bold coloured murals define breakout spaces and views of local landmarks bring a bit of the outdoor in.

The new design is aiming on offering a space where staff and visiting children will feel comfortable.
