Deck the Halls!

What another year it’s been! After more uncertain times we find ourselves once again going that extra mile to make Christmas special, hoping to be surrounded by those who mean the most to us and reflecting this within our homes.

Going back to basics

With sustainability at the forefront of our minds, paper decorations and crafts will be a popular way of decorating our homes and giving it a more personal touch.

Tablescaping

Dress your table with complementing layers; a tablecloth, place mats and napkins or even a central table runner. Have fun with finishing touches; add some metals matching your cutlery through candle holders, napkin rings, Christmas crackers or even name plates. Play with heights on your central piece, but try not to block the view of your Christmas dinner guests ! Finally, decide on greenery or dried plants that either completes the colour scheme or bring in that missing piney fragrance.

Cosy Christmas

Use golden metallics and bring in textures like velvet and fleece, whether it be through a ribbon, a cushion or a faux fur throw. Place your lights strategically to reflect the warm glow of candles and twinkling lights on the metals and soft fabrics.

Winter whites

Layer neutrals with silver metallics to give that wintery snowing feeling and still calmness, from the comfort of your homes.

Colour accents

You can stick with the traditional red and green, go bold and bright with your favourite colours or work with pastel hues. The choice is yours, express your personality through Christmas tree decorations.

Festive Fragrance

Recall memories through your smell sense; nostalgia plays part of Christmas in every home, the smell of a real tree, the roast slowly filling up the whole house with a salivating smell, or simply a Christmas spice candle burning with notes of cinnamon and clove.
